A prolific writer, he has authored nine novels, eight short story collections, three poetry volumes, a Geeti Kabita, and a travelogue. His writing reflects everyday life, contemporary realities, and human experiences, making it both relatable and insightful. His unique narrative style has earned him recognition as an important modern voice, and his name has been added to the History of Odia Literature. In 2018, he was honored with the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award.
